About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team in North Lanarkshire. As a Community Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with complex disabilities in their daily lives.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting individuals with personal care, medication management, communication, mealtimes, and participating in their chosen activities. You will also facilitate attendance at college, appointments, recreational activities, and social events.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:

  • Up to 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
  • A fully funded SVQ qualification to help you achieve your goals
  • Set rotas up to 6 weeks in advance for predictable working hours
  • 32 days' holidays per year, increasing to 37 with service
