We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Managing Director. As the main ambassador for SHEFFIELD DOCFEST, you will be responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy for the festival, working closely with the Creative Director and Chair of the Board of Trustees.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of the film industry and its trends. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and team members at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing strategies to grow audiences and increase revenue
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, donors, and partners
  • Leading and managing a team of staff and freelancers to deliver high-quality programming and events

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and a dynamic working environment.
