About You
As a seasoned professional in the film industry, you will be a key contributor to our team at The DDA Group. Your expertise in leading campaigns from the ground up, advising clients on press strategies, and managing client and filmmaker expectations will be invaluable. You will be responsible for leading titles at festivals, managing client relationships, and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Campaigns
- Advise clients on suitable press strategies for their specific films.
- Lead on high-profile campaigns, liaising with major clients and distributors.
- Recognize workload opportunities for division and flag with the team's director.
- Manage tour activity from afar and communicate with film delegations.
- Problem-solve major campaign issues independently.
- Navigate and manage client relationships.
Festivals
- Lead on titles at festivals, managing client liaison and logistics.
- Use spare time to build on existing client relationships.
- Apply knowledge of press schedules to tailor strategies for film projects.
Press & International Distributors Relationships
- Advise clients on suitable press strategies for their specific films.
- Network with journalists regularly.
New Business & Industry Relationships
- Develop close working relationships with clients and add value with expert knowledge.
- Apply in-depth understanding of client context, competitors, and industry.
- Work with the team to find the best solution for projects.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on proposals and presentations.
- Contribute to new business presentations and proposals.
- Recognize opportunities to expand services and suggest ways to utilize industry trends to The DDA Group's advantage.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven leadership with excellent client relationship skills.
- Strong relationship building skills with a focus on clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Experience with growing accounts and new business opportunities.
- Possession of expert written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
