Job Title: Financial Assistant

Kenton Black Ltd seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join its team as a Financial Assistant in Burnley.

We are looking for someone with experience in purchase ledger processes, proficiency in IT, and strong Excel skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing creditor invoices, managing credit and debit balances, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process creditor invoices via the accounts payable system and ensure timely payments.
  • Perform weekly payment runs to maintain supplier relationships.
  • Manage credit and debit balances, including handling credit card top-up requests.
  • Administer insurance claims and support the annual renewal process.
  • Post direct debit payments and housing benefit payments onto our system.

Requirements:

  • Purchase ledger experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with finance systems such as Open Accounts and Active H (desirable).

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum based on the location and industry standards.
