About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality mental health services to young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions for young people with mental health problems.
  • Contribute to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of young people with mental health issues.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to young people and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with young people with mental health problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and treatment approaches.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
