Job Summary

We are excited to announce an Assistant Psychologist vacancy at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, supporting interventions, collecting data, and participating in research projects to improve outcomes for young people.

Main Duties

This post is ideal for someone passionate about young people's mental health and eager to develop a centre of excellence. You will join a well-established team, including nursing, psychiatry, OT, nurses, social workers, and Specialist Therapists. Our clinical model ensures that each young person and their carers receive tailored care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the group programme.
  • Offer evidence-based interventions to young people.
  • Collect and feedback routine outcome measures.
  • Contribute to MDT discussions.
  • Support audit processes.
  • School observations.
  • Research projects for service development.
About Us

NELFT places great importance on welcoming new starters and providing comprehensive induction. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a two-week induction, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation.

Probationary Period
