Property Maintenance Officer

About County Rents

County Rents is a leading provider of temporary accommodation to various contracts with local and national government. With over 20 years of experience in social housing, we pride ourselves on being a family-owned business with a strong ethos of family values.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be at the heart of our operations. Your duties will include:

* Identifying and resolving maintenance issues and hazards
* Eliminating hazards and, if appropriate, fixing minor repairs
* Providing important liaison between tenants and our service centre
* Uploading reports and condition videos in a timely manner
* Assisting the business and tenants with any ad hoc queries that arise
* Requirement to assist with being 'On Call' as per business needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A positive and flexible approach to all works
* Quick and logical thinking
* Problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
* A proactive approach to any scenario
* Basic electrical, plumbing, and trades working knowledge
