Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workplace Technology Product Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of workplace technology products and solutions.

Estimated Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum

This salary range reflects the company's commitment to compensating employees fairly based on their skills, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Product Roadmap: You will be accountable for creating and implementing a product roadmap that aligns with our strategic architectural vision and meets the needs of our business.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners: You will work closely with our business partners and change teams to develop technical roadmaps that ensure delivery of clear outcomes linked to employee experience and environmental targets.
  • Liaise with IT Teams: You will serve as a liaison between business product owners and relevant IT teams to provide technical vision, direction, and support.
  • Manage Change Plans: You will engage with change delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure that products and solutions have appropriate change management plans in place.
  • Assess and Share Industry Best Practices: You will continuously assess and share industry best practices and application knowledge aligned to business needs to support decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of L&G Group Change and Group Technology Processes: You should have a solid understanding of our internal processes and procedures.
  • Solution Design and Test Governance: You should have expertise in solution design and test phases, including governance.
  • Property and Workplace Products and Solutions: You should have experience working with property and workplace products and solutions.
  • Regulated Industry Experience: You should have experience working in a regulated industry, including FCA and PRA.
  • Waterfall and Agile Delivery Paradigms: You should be familiar with both waterfall and agile delivery paradigms.
  • People Management: You should have experience managing direct reports and developing their skills.
