Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. This exciting opportunity is part of a collaborative effort between Easycare 4 U Limited and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council to provide exceptional care services in a residential unit located in Treharris.

About the Role:
    As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, promoting their well-being, dignity, and independence. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans that cater to individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
    * Provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
    * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address individual requirements
    * Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards
    * Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in care provision
    * Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders

Requirements:
    * QCF Level 2 in Care or equivalent qualification recognized by Social Care Wales (or willingness to undertake this within the first year)
    * Completion of a 10-hour online Welsh Work course
    * Experience in a social care role within a registered setting (at least 1 year preferred)
    * Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and bank holidays as required
    * Valid driving license and willingness to drive our minibus for activities
    * Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in care provision

What We Offer:
    * Competitive salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
