The Placements Team plays a vital role in this process, working closely with foster carers and families to assess and approve placements and special guardianship arrangements.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in keeping children connected to their communities. You will work with kinship care and local recruitment, focusing on creating safe, stable, and supportive homes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Placement Support: Provide 24/7 professional advice to foster carers to ensure placement stability.
  2. Recruitment and Retention: Recruit and retain local carers while commissioning placements when internal resources cannot be identified.
  3. Therapeutic Services: Offer therapeutic services for children and carers to prevent placement disruptions.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,500 per annum, depending on experience and location. We offer hybrid & flexible working, allowing you to administer tasks from home while engaging directly with children, carers, and families as needed.
