About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Manager to join our team at Matchtech. As an Incident Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: You will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and communicating around all service impacting outages. This will involve liaising with various technical teams to ensure timely and accurate information is disseminated both internally and externally.
  • Investigation and Analysis: You will lead investigations to identify the root cause of incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Communication and Collaboration: You will work closely with senior members of the management team to ensure effective communication and collaboration during significant customer impacting outages.
  • Problem Management: You will perform both reactive and proactive problem management to drive permanent resolution and ensure that tickets are reduced and problems across the estate decrease.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: You must have a proven track record in the effective delivery of Incident Management.
  • Technical Expertise: You should have experience with application or infrastructure services.
  • Communication Skills: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor communication of technically complex issues to various audiences.
  • Collaboration Skills: You should have strong collaboration skills with an interest to develop a strong network.
  • Adaptability: You must be able to adapt quickly to new technologies or procedures.
  • Organizational Skills: You should have good organizational skills and be able to multitask effectively.
