Youth Development Assistant

Academics is a leading provider of education and care services for children with special educational needs. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Development Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting young people with challenging behaviour, and be able to work effectively with them to promote positive outcomes. We are looking for someone who is proactive, patient and able to think creatively.
This role involves working closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues, and be flexible and adaptable.
We offer a competitive salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including comprehensive training and development opportunities, generous holiday allowance and career progression.
The estimated salary range for this role is based on national averages and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required. It is subject to change and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
