Accounts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the sales and purchase ledger, providing support with finance and accounting-related tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the sales and purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Provide support with finance and accounting-related tasks, including payment runs, credit control, and inputting details into the system.
  • Raise invoices and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Be a team player, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
  • AAT level 4 or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Previous experience working with sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately process and record financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
