Job Title: Experienced General Practice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team at Dr Mittal & Partners. As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience of working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice and will be able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills. You will work closely with our General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective nursing care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing services to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and support the delivery of treatment room services
  • Manage the care of patients with long-term health conditions and ensure effective management of wounds
  • Work with the nursing admin staff to construct and maintain robust call and recall systems for chronic disease, immunisations, and disease prevention care programmes
  • Provide leadership and support in the relevant practice services LES, DES and other incentive schemes
  • Ensure treatment room compliance and effectiveness, including stock control, ordering and vaccine/cold chain management
  • Subject matter expert for infection control prevention and responsible for audits and submissions
  • Provide pastoral support for staff when required
