Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team at Dr Mittal & Partners. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing services to meet the needs of our patients
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team
  • Manage the care of patients with long-term health conditions, including organisational responsibility for specific disease areas
  • Ensure effective management of wounds, including ongoing learning and development for the nursing team to improve rates of healing and patient outcomes
  • Work with the nursing administration team to construct and maintain robust call and recall systems for chronic disease, immunisations, and disease prevention care programmes
  • Provide leadership and support in the relevant practice services, including LES, DES, and other incentive schemes
  • Ensure treatment room compliance and effectiveness, including stock control, ordering, and vaccine/cold chain management
  • Subject matter expert for infection control prevention, responsible for audits and submissions
  • Provide pastoral support for staff when required, particularly in relation to issues that affect their ability to work
