Job Title: Experienced General Practice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team at Dr Mittal & Partners. As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team
  • Developing and implementing nursing services to meet the needs of our patients
  • Managing the care of patients with long-term health conditions, including organisational responsibility for specific disease areas
  • Ensuring the effective management of wounds and promoting ongoing learning and development for the nursing team
  • Working collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of procedures
  • Providing leadership and support in the relevant practice services LES, DES and other incentive schemes
  • Ensuring treatment room compliance and effectiveness, including stock control, ordering and vaccine/cold chain management
  • Providing pastoral support for staff when required

This role involves working across Reading Holybrook PCN practices, including Broadstreet Health Centre, Milman Road & Kennet Surgery, and Abbey Medical Centre.

  • Experience of working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice
