Achieving Academic Success: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to provide individualised support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role: As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic potential. You will lead interventions to improve academic progress and personal development, while maintaining a structured and nurturing environment to encourage positive behaviour and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Develop and lead group interventions to improve academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with families and external professionals to ensure effective support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of SEMH strategies and best practices, as well as experience working with SEN or SEMH students. A Psychology degree from a leading UK university is also essential.

Competitive Salary: This is a competitive opportunity offering a salary range of £90-£100 per day, paid via PAYE. You will also have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
