Head of English at Wayman Learning Trust

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of English to lead our dynamic English department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated leader to shape the future of English at our school and contribute to its overall success.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success as a Head of English or a senior leader in English, holding a QTS and a degree in English or a related subject. They will possess leadership skills that inspire, motivate, and empower others, with a deep understanding of the curriculum and a passion for English literature.
This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the English department to deliver high-quality teaching and learning

- Championing innovation and staying ahead of the curve in curriculum design
