We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, support their learning, and make a real difference in their educational journey.
As a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing additional support to teachers and pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will be working in a dynamic and inclusive environment where your skills, experience, and passion for teaching will be valued and respected.
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other staff members. You will be committed to providing high-quality support that enhances the learning experience and promotes academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners;
- Assist pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support to access the curriculum;
- Develop and implement strategies to promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and confidence among pupils;
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes;
- Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed about their child's progress;
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Education or a related field;
- Experience working with children, preferably in a teaching assistant capacity;
- Strong knowledge of Welsh language and culture;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education;
- A flexible approach to work, including willingness to work on a supply basis.
