We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Assistant to contribute to the success of our team at Hawkchurch Resort & Spa in Axminster, Devon.

This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 20-25 hours of work across various days, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take food and drink orders, assist with clearing and resetting tables, and serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
  • Be responsible for accurate and efficient stock rotation, cash handling, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the bar and restaurant areas.
  • Assist with the swift collection of glasses and tableware.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Excellent customer service and strong communication skills are essential. A driving license and the ability to drive are required for this role due to the use of Resort vehicles.
