We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Consultant Specialist to join our team in North Wales. This substantive consultant position will be based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. The successful candidate will contribute to the general medical on-call rota and have opportunities to develop a sub-specialty interest and contribute to the general respiratory workload of the department.

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.

Main duties of the job

  • Contribute to the development of the respiratory service and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to improve communication and coordination.
  • Participate in clinical research and audit projects.


Required skills and qualifications
  • Appropriate higher medical degree (MD or equivalent).
  • Full GMC registration.
  • MRCP.
  • CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC).
