The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with experience in implementing systems and process change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reporting of the AVEVA group consolidated results for group reporting to Schneider Electric in line with the group reporting timetable.
  • Work closely with the finance operations team, regional heads of finance, and internal audit to improve processes and controls around the financial reporting close.
  • Support alignment activities between Schneider and AVEVA for all financial reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that consolidated group financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS standards in line with the prescribed timelines.
  • Implement new structures, processes, and controls that drive operational effectiveness in the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualification or similar.
  • Desirable experience in Schneider OPUS (HFM) and other tools.
  • Experience of implementing systems and/or process change.
  • Building relationships quickly/interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Organised and able to balance conflicting priorities.
  • Capable of managing time and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative, with good communications skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Confident, motivated self-starter.
  • Able to comply with documented processes and procedures.
