Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Technical Training Specialist to join our Audit Service Line team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be a senior member of our Financial Reporting Training team and contribute to the development of the next generation of accountants and auditors at RSM.

  • This role will involve developing close working relationships with the director of audit training and various stakeholders across the audit business to identify Financial Reporting for Audit (FR) training needs.
  • You will design and implement a training strategy to meet those needs.
  • In collaboration with the wider financial reporting team, you will identify economies of scale where training content has cross-service line relevance and benefit.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, experience in designing and delivering complex training content meeting strict deadlines, and the ability to influence a range of senior stakeholders.

About the Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will be a confident presenter who can relay complex materials in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. You will also have strong project and time management skills.

We require candidates who hold ACA, ICAS, or equivalent qualifications and have knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Previous training experience is desirable but not essential.

Requirements
  • You must be able to travel anywhere nationally for delivery of training. Substantial advance notice of all travel requirements is generally given.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. This figure is based on national averages for similar positions in the industry and may vary depending on location and individual circumstances.
