Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at Clarkson PLC in Great Yarmouth. This role will play a key part in supporting the Procurement Department and maintaining relationships with our supply chain. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, highly organized, and proactive, with a passion for being a valued member of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement Team, including answering and transferring calls, taking accurate messages, and ensuring they are passed on to the relevant person.
  • Assist with fielding and handling purchasing queries, and provide timely and accurate responses.
  • Support the Category Managers with daily tasks, including raising purchase orders, collating credit card invoices, and filing and scanning documents.
  • Assist with expediting outstanding purchase orders and ordering internal use items.
  • Participate in internal product training courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Team player with a flexible approach.
  • Good MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
