Job Title: Employers Liability Claims Specialist

Are you a seasoned litigation professional seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Employers Liability Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team at Law Staff Ltd. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre- and post-issue fast track employers' liability claims.

We are offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000, plus a generous commission scheme that rewards your success. With a 3/2 hybrid working pattern after probation and 23 days holiday rising to 26 days, plus public/bank holidays, you will enjoy a great work-life balance. Additionally, you will have access to private medical insurance after 2 years of service and enhanced maternity leave payment. Not to mention, our on-site gym, netball/football teams, and social activities make for a fun and inclusive work environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Managing a caseload of Employers' Liability (EL) claims from start to finish.
* Conducting thorough legal research and advising clients.
* Preparing legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements.
* Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court when necessary.
* Working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
* Keeping up to date with relevant laws and regulations.

You will be successful in this role if you have a proven billing track record of handling a litigated caseload, tenacity, and a focus on advancing cases through litigation. Experience managing EL fast-track cases, familiarity with the portal, knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, and trends in litigation are also essential. If you have demonstrable experience handling litigated files from inception to trial and previous experience with Proclaim case management system, you will be at an advantage.
