Job Title: Employers Liability Litigation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Employers Liability Litigation Expert to join our team at Law Staff Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled litigation professional to manage a caseload of pre- and post-issue fast track employers' liability claims. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research, preparing legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court when necessary. You will work closely with our team to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a caseload of Employers' Liability (EL) claims from start to finish.
* Conduct thorough legal research and advise clients on their claims.
* Prepare legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements, to support your clients' cases.
* Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations to maintain your expertise and provide top-notch service to our clients.

Requirements:

* Strong track record of handling litigated cases with a focus on advancing cases through litigation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
* Experience managing EL fast-track cases, familiarity with the portal, knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, and trends in litigation are highly desirable. You must have demonstrable experience handling litigated files from inception to trial and previous experience with Proclaim case management system would be advantageous.
