We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Work Professional to support our East Midlands region as an Independent Social Worker. This is a temporary, freelance position that requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with foster parents and children's social workers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care, with a formal social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. A valid driving license and the right to work in the UK are also essential.

As an Independent Social Worker with CareTech Group, you will be part of a remote working team, providing direct support to our families with a realistic caseload (10-12 families). You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure foster parents are informed, accept, understand, and operate within regulations and national minimum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to foster families with a realistic caseload (10-12 families)

  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive work environment
