We are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Learning Support Worker to join our team at South Staffordshire College. As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing first-class support to students with severe and complex learning difficulties and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized study programs to support students in achieving their full potential.
- Work effectively and imaginatively to provide support for students, focusing on education, communication, social, emotional, and personal skills.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, fully inclusive learning environments.
- Contribute to the development of education, health, and care plans for students.
- Participate in staff training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEND.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a range of settings supporting young people or adults with learning differences and disabilities.
- Knowledge of SEND and the Education, Health, and Care process.
- Strong team player with a real desire to help young adults.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
