Join Our Team as a SEND Classroom Support Assistant

Zest Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEND Classroom Support Assistant. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in their academic and social development
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a SEND teaching assistant, particularly with ASC students
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student
  • A positive and nurturing attitude towards students
