Job Title: Assistant Merchandiser

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Bradford - Hybrid

Salary: Up to £28,000

Our client, a leading manufacturer of greeting cards, party goods, gifts, and stationery, is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support planning, trading, and forecasting. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for:

  • Ownership of events and trade calendar ranges
  • Delivering regular customer reporting requirements
  • Reporting on store performance
  • Ensuring all financial, external, and customer factors are evaluated to deliver accurate reporting
  • Suggesting actions to maximize sales, profit, and store performance
  • Delivering trading analysis for review
  • Supporting the product team to ensure the optimum range is offered

You will work closely with the product team to ensure the success of the business. To be successful in this role, you will need to be excellent in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and identify commercial insights. Previous experience in a similar role within a retail or supply chain background is essential. You must be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships and demonstrate commercial thinking to influence key stakeholders and ensure profit growth is at the centre of decision-making.
