Job Summary:
Zachary Daniels is seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our fashion and footwear department, you will be responsible for trading your department, recognizing areas of risk, and providing solutions to your Merchandiser.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the delivery schedule to ensure all deliveries are on track.
- Support the Buying team with critical path planning on a weekly and daily basis.
- Prepare and analyze trade reports, including daily sales, size curves, stock replenishment, store performance, and general cover.
- Propose, transfer, and rebuy stock as needed, and phase in new products.
- Collaborate with the Buying team to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Monitor and protect never-out-of-stock lines and line card projections.
- Plan and forecast sales, stock, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a fashion or footwear retail environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Buying team and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
