About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Assistant to provide administrative support to the Merchandise Team at FGH. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate sales and stock forecasting, inventory management, and assisting in planning and merchandising departmental product ranges that satisfy customer requirements and deliver the core values and attributes of the Brand(s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and distribute pre-determined reports to enable the Merchandise Team to identify opportunities to improve KPI performance.
  • Create and distribute Purchase Orders, monitor and maintain Purchase Order delivery dates, and ensure records are up-to-date and accurate at all times.
  • Distribute DD estimates to suppliers, track, chase, and summarize their responses.
  • Update product statuses on all FGH systems to ensure availability and onsite visibility are in line with Merchandise guidelines.
  • Perform housekeeping of the department, set up, manage, and follow through all buying administration systems and procedures to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain/establish the department filing system with support.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies, and FCA Conduct Rules.
  • Demonstrate behaviors in line with our Company values.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by acts and omissions at work.
