We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Outdoor & Leisure team at Westmorland and Furness Council as a Sports Activities Officer.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake light building cleaning and pitch cleaning duties to maintain a safe and clean environment for users.
- Work with participants to develop a league programme, promoting active partnerships and a good understanding of football.
- Engage with clubs, schools, and groups to increase participation and maximize the use of the 3G All-weather pitches.
- Collaborate with the team and strategic partners to develop a facility that supports our communities through improving physical activity, social interaction, and mental well-being.
- Assist in the delivery of the Leisure and Wellbeing strategy, engaging with existing and new partners, including those from the private, public, and voluntary sectors.
