We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with a background in Architectural Glazing and Aluminium to join our team at Doufre Construction Personnel. As a key member of our growth strategy, you will work alongside internal stakeholders to advise, design, and deliver exceptional solutions in architectural glazing and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise and guide internal teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to project completion.
  • Utilize MEPLA, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to produce comprehensive structural designs and detailed calculations for glazing and aluminium systems.
  • Perform and verify complex structural calculations ensuring compliance with UK regulations, Eurocodes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop innovative solutions that meet both aesthetic and structural requirements.
  • Ensure the successful integration of structural elements within the broader architectural vision, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Ideal Candidate: Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng) with experience in architectural glazing and aluminium, and a strong understanding of UK regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
