The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Administrator to join our Radiology Department. As an Administrator - Radiology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, providing exceptional patient care and support to our clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Radiology Department, including preparing clinical paperwork and referral forms.
Use your excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and book appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
Welcome patients, in person, and direct them to the appropriate waiting rooms.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department by performing administrative tasks and providing support to the clinical team.
Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Good IT and keyboard skills, with experience of using administrative software.
Previous experience in a healthcare administration role or a relevant reception environment.
