Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Neuropsychology team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct psychological services to clients and their families, conducting assessments and developing personalized programs to support their rehabilitation and independence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Neuropsychology team in providing high-quality clinical services to clients with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address the complex needs of clients.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with clients with acquired brain injuries.

Person Specification
  • Doctorate-level training in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with adults with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team of Clinical Psychologists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
