Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation expectations, delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain immaculate kitchen conditions and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Effectively manage inventory and supplies, ordering as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Substantial experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role, with a strong background in kitchen leadership.
  • In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene best practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
