About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Radiology Department. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient service of the Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of calls and enquiries, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the appropriate action is taken at all times.
  • Communicate with internal and external professionals and organizations, providing information and support as needed.
  • Prepare and send appointment letters, including preparation guidelines and medication information, to patients.
  • Cancel, amend, and reschedule Radiology imaging sessions and appointments as needed, following strict guidelines.
  • Ensure urgent diagnostic reports are escalated to the referrer as soon as possible via email.

Requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • Word Processing skills.
  • Good customer relation skills and experience.
  • Previous experience of working in customer service, NHS, or Public Sector.
  • Call Centre environment skills.
