Duty Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco Partners. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our pharmacy operations, ensuring that we provide exceptional patient care and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of pharmacists and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Pharmacy Operations: You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our pharmacy operations, including the supply of prescriptions, delivery of NHS and private services, and provision of healthcare advice to customers.
- Community Engagement: You will play an active role in our charities support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
- Training and Development: You will support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries, and ensure that our team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Quality and Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that our pharmacy operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, and that our team is equipped to identify and mitigate any risks to patient safety.
- Qualifications: You will have a Pharmacy Degree and be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience: You will have experience in a leadership role in a pharmacy setting, and be able to demonstrate a track record of success in leading and managing a team.
- Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
