Job Title: Lead Policy Developer

Autism Together is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Policy Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing policies that support our mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that policies are evidence-based and effective.
  • Provide advice and guidance on policy matters to senior leadership and other teams.
  • Manage and support the delivery of policy and practice programs that align with our strategic priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing legislation and regulations that impact our organization.
  • Provide policy input and support to other parts of the organization, including inductions and participation in cross-organizational events and working groups.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field.
  • Experience of policy review and implementation, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement policies that meet our organization's needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and pieces of work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
