About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an individual to join Ruth Meredith, an independent employer in Cambridge, as a practical support assistant. The role involves providing personal care and assistance to Ruth, enabling her to lead a full and happy life despite her physical disability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lending a helping hand with daily tasks, accompanying Ruth on outings, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. This is a varied role that requires flexibility, empathy, and a can-do attitude.

We are looking for someone who is willing to commit to a minimum of four months, with the option to extend up to one year. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £22,000 per annum, paid bi-weekly, plus additional benefits including discounted food and sick pay.

To be eligible for this role, you must be available to work a residential pattern, staying with Ruth for up to five nights at a time, followed by twice as much time off. You can choose to work on a regular salary or zero-hours basis, depending on your needs.
