Job Title: Internal Reflection and Refocus Centre Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Internal Reflection and Refocus Centre Assistant. This role is a key part of our pastoral support team, working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day function of the Internal Reflection Room, ensuring a safe and supportive space for students.
  • Work closely with the Internal Reflection Supervisor to develop and deliver targeted interventions for students in the Re-Focus Centre.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to identify and address student needs, promoting positive behaviour and academic achievement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and carers to ensure effective communication and support.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviour, with a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the academy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
