We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Internal Reflection and Refocus Centre Assistant. This role is a key part of our pastoral support team, working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day function of the Internal Reflection Room, ensuring a safe and supportive space for students.
- Work closely with the Internal Reflection Supervisor to develop and deliver targeted interventions for students in the Re-Focus Centre.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to identify and address student needs, promoting positive behaviour and academic achievement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and carers to ensure effective communication and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour, with a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the academy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
