Cleaning Operative

Berry Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team in Swindon, Oxfordshire. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbing machines, and buffing machines as appropriate to the role.
- Log and Track Work: Use a mobile phone with a cleaning app to log and track all allocated work to be actioned when completed, and for recording faults identified during the working shift.
- Maintain Checklists and Admin Documents: Ensure that checklists and other admin documents are completed accurately as required.
- Report Hazards and Safety Concerns: Comply with all Health & Safety policies and report any hazards and/or Safety concerns to the Cleaning Team Leader and Contract Manager.
- Participate in Training Sessions: Attend and participate in training sessions as required for the role.
- Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including Client representatives.
- Promote Best Practice: Promote best practice of all tasks undertaken and completed.
- Quality Standards and Compliance: All employees are responsible for and required to adhere to Quality Standards, and Health, Safety & Environmental compliance regulation as appropriate for the role.
