Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee the management and operation of our cleaning contracts across the South West region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with clients, managing cleaning personnel, and ensuring the highest standards of cleaning and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate a portfolio of cleaning contracts across the South West region
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients through regular meetings and inspections
  • Manage cleaning personnel, ensuring they complete their duties and adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Review cleaning standards through regular inspections and arrange one-off cleans and deep cleans as needed
  • Proactively visit sites during cleaning shifts to monitor standards and staff attendance
  • Liaise with managers and supervisors on a daily basis and build strong relationships with colleagues and cleaning team members
  • Be involved in the selection and training of new cleaning team members
  • Monitor equipment, uniform, and stock levels

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning management experience is required
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills
  • Able to effectively manage cleaning and supervisory staff
  • IT literate
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic
  • Full UK driving licence
