About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Porton Down. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning tasks to ensure agreed standards and prioritize workload.
- Report any repairs noticed during cleaning duties.
- Respond to service shortfalls and conduct daily maintenance on machinery.
- Carry out additional or special cleans as instructed.
- Ensure adequate stocks of consumables and submit requests for replenishments.
- Attend and complete training as required.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner.
- Work safely and raise any health and safety risks or hazards.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of workplace cleaning, good time keeping, and excellent customer service skills. You should be methodical and meticulous in your approach to work and able to read and speak English to ensure safe working practices.
