Learning Support Associate

About the Role: The successful candidate will provide high-quality learning support to learners who require additional assistance, working under the guidance of the Learning Support Manager and class teachers. Key responsibilities include delivering in-class support to individual learners and/or groups, applying specialist skills to meet individual learner needs, and documenting progress to support the achievement of learning targets. You will also aid learners in initial assessments and induction processes, as well as provide support in areas such as attendance, study skills, and IT.
Key Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent support to adult learners. You should have a strong understanding of subject-specific content, particularly in Maths, IT, and Health & Social Care. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, staff, and other stakeholders. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be undertaken, and proof of Right to work in the UK will be required for all applicants.
