Uniformed PolicingAs a Uniformed Police Officer, you will be part of our Local Policing Teams and Community Policing Teams across the County of Essex. You will work closely with the community to build trust and confidence, and respond to emergency calls and incidents.
Crime InvestigationAs a Detective Constable, you will be part of our Crime and Public Protection Command (C&PP) and work on a range of investigations, including child abuse, adult sexual abuse, and serious crime. You will be responsible for gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and working with other agencies to bring offenders to justice.
Authorised Firearms Officer - Counter TerrorismAs an Authorised Firearms Officer - Counter Terrorism, you will be based at Stansted Airport and provide high-visibility patrols to prevent and detect terrorist activity. You will work closely with other agencies to identify and disrupt terrorist threats, and respond to emergency situations.
We welcome applications from individuals with a proven track record in a Firearms role. As part of the transfer process, applicants will be required to produce credible and authentic training records endorsed by their Chief Firearms Instructor, showing them as a competent and operational AFOs.
