Job Summary:

Essex Police is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Caseworker Assistant to join their Professional Standards Administration Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and updating case records to facilitate the public complaints system and investigations carried out by the Professional Standards Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level internal and external customer service
  • Generate and update case records to facilitate the public complaints system and investigations
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a good level of service to customers
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and audio typing is essential

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of working with others to provide a good level of service to customers
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Competence in audio typing

What We Offer:

Essex Police offers agile working, which allows some flexibility in terms of work arrangements. The successful candidate will be predominantly office-based within an office-based team. Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty.
