We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a care home in Near Reading. This is a great chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and become part of a dedicated team that provides exceptional care and support.

The Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal times, and social events. You will also be expected to develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals. Your duties will include administering medication, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual who can demonstrate empathy and understanding towards our residents. A strong understanding of health and social care principles is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to undertake the qualification is desirable. If you have experience with medication administration or are willing to undertake training, this would be beneficial.

Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £15.62-£17.00 per hour (with potential for a higher rate if experienced in a butterfly unit). In addition, you will enjoy 28 days' holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays, pension scheme, friendly and supportive work environment, subsidised meals, and lunch breaks paid for.
