We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Immunology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide expert nursing care to children with primary and secondary antibody deficiencies, working autonomously to develop and implement care plans.
Main Responsibilities- Provide nursing support for a cohort of patients with primary immunodeficiency, including those receiving immunoglobulin replacement at home or in local hospitals.
- Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team within the Immunology specialty, providing cross-cover to other Immunology Clinical Nurses Specialists.
- Develop and implement care plans for patients with complex and innovative treatments, such as bone marrow transplantations, gene therapy, and thymus transplants.
- Manage the Immunoglobulin home therapy service and infusion training.
